About RefundPilot
RefundPilot helps people turn a refund problem into a clear, evidence-led message they can send to a merchant, a platform, or a card issuer.
What RefundPilot is
RefundPilot is an independent, small web product with two parts. The first is a library of free guides and copy-paste letter templates for the most common refund and chargeback situations. The second is a workspace where you describe your case in plain language, attach proof, and get a structured fact record, a refund request, an escalation message, and a summary for a card dispute.
We are not a law firm, a bank, a card network, or a claims agent. We do not file disputes for you, we do not talk to merchants on your behalf, and we cannot guarantee that any merchant or bank will approve a refund.
How the guides are written
Each guide is written to answer one practical question: what to send, to whom, with which evidence, and by when. Where a guide states a legal right, a deadline, or a process, it is based on official sources such as the US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and Federal Trade Commission, GOV.UK, and the European Union consumer rights pages. The sources are listed at the bottom of the guide.
Every guide shows the date it was last updated. Rules differ by country, payment method, and merchant policy, and they change, so treat the guides as general information and check the current rules that apply to you before relying on them.
How the workspace uses AI
The workspace uses an AI model to draft text from the details you enter. AI drafts can contain mistakes, so read every message before you send it and correct anything that does not match your facts. You stay in control of what is sent and to whom. See the Privacy Policy for how case details are handled.
How RefundPilot is funded
RefundPilot is in beta. The guides and the workspace can be used without paying. Voluntary beta contributions help cover hosting and AI costs; the Support page explains how they work.
