Terms of Use
By using refundpilot.org you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What the service is
RefundPilot is a beta tool that helps you organize facts and draft messages about refund and chargeback disputes, and a library of general guides. It is provided for information and drafting help only.
Not legal or financial advice
RefundPilot is not a law firm and does not give legal, financial, or tax advice. Guides and drafts are general information. Your rights depend on your country, your payment method, and the merchant's terms, and may have changed since a page was written. Consider asking a qualified professional or a consumer protection body if the amount or the stakes are high.
No guarantee of a refund
We do not contact merchants or banks for you and we do not control their decisions. We cannot promise that a refund, chargeback, or any other outcome will be granted, or how fast. Card issuers, platforms, and merchants set their own eligibility rules and deadlines.
AI-generated content
Drafts are produced with an AI model and can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting every message before you send it, and for making sure everything you state is true.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information. Do not use the service to make false claims, to dispute a purchase you actually received and are satisfied with, or to harass anyone.
- Do not upload or enter content that is unlawful, that you have no right to share, or that contains other people's sensitive data.
- Do not try to disrupt the service, probe it for weaknesses, or use it to send spam or automated bulk requests.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you enter and of the drafts generated for you. You give us permission to store and process that content only as needed to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You may use the drafts for your own disputes without attribution.
Beta contributions
During the beta you can make a voluntary contribution to support the project, as described on the Support page. Contributions are voluntary and, unless the law of your country says otherwise, non-refundable. The workspace can be used whether or not you contribute.
Availability and changes
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". It is in beta, and features, limits, and availability may change or stop at any time. We may suspend access for misuse.
Limits of liability
To the extent allowed by law, RefundPilot is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost refunds or missed deadlines, or for decisions made by merchants, banks, or platforms, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, if any. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the consumer protection law that applies to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. Last updated: 2026-10-18.
